Rebecca gained her basic business and office skills through the Office Administration program at Okanagan University College, Construction Administration at SAIT, numerous safety programs through ACSA, as well as various contract law courses and seminars. This education, combined with nearly 20 years of experience in all aspects of construction business administration, has made Rebecca well-versed in what it takes to manage a construction company.
After working with a busy Calgary-based general contractor, Rebecca recognized just how many small business owners were in need of administrative support to help them navigate through some of those non-construction aspects of their companies, and incorporated Construct-Assist Inc. in February 2018 to do just that.
Rebecca recognizes the importance of systematic procedures to ensure that all processes flow together and intertwine among the different departments in order to maintain efficiency while decreasing risk and liability. Rebecca utilizes her high-level knowledge of construction contract law, along with her past involvement in how projects are executed and managed, to assist and advise clients on best practices and industry standards, provide them with professional-looking custom templates, assist in the development of health & safety programs, and provides general coordination and virtual assistance.
